Default new canthan festival npc

I was thinking, after this last april fools wouldnt it be nice to be able to have those options again. I mean wouldnt it be cool to be gwen-chan for more than just one day----and I dont mean a tonic!

so
my suggestion is to add a npc who I will call the wizard to the canthan boardwalk festivals....and for a fee (either 5 or 10 festival tickets--a nice gold sink for anet) he will change you into one of the april fools jokes (other gender, stick figure or gwen-chan).....for 5 tickets you dont get to choose, for 10 tickets you do (and for 5 tickets there is a chance he will mess up and you will look like an ox--or whatever celestial year animal it is, would have liked to have had this for the year of the rat but I degress). He can have one of those tall dunce like pointy hats with stars or whatever on it and a long grey beard (yes very sterotypical). The effect, of course, only lasts while you are in the district.

so does anyone else think we should have something like this? Thought it would be cool to be able to use all that work anet did on these april fools characters again (and would really like to be gwen-chan again).

/signed also but it would be nice if you could somehow trigger it like you could buy an item for that price and it would be random....it wouldnt help any titles or anything cause then these simple items would be overpriced but yeah if you made it 5k or like 1k or something where u can buy an item and then u can transform....toggle it off and once u toggle it off it disappears.....or after 24 hours of not toggling it off it automatically turns off.....idk just an idea

'Tis a different idea, not sure how easy it would be to implement. However, it would be fun.

It'll be nice, but mostly useless. I mean, I won't use it, but there are people out there that WILL use it. And since I wouldn't care that I will be running around Gwen-Chans or Stickmen... Or even a transexual character, Sure what the heck.

That seems awfully expensive for an effect that only lasts while you're in the district...

50-100 tickets wouldn't be that expensive - just compare to prices of single use monthly tonics from Z-Chest - they go much higher.

fun idea, nothing against it.

Just add tonics for those effects.

Recycling already existing mechanics are usually better than adding new ones, since it's faster to add and requires less work.

thought about making it a tonic, but then it could be used anytime...was thinking more along the lines of something we could have occasionally like the canthan festival (and the festival needs a few more money sinks anyways).

You could make such tonics available only in those festivals.
If it is about money sinks, it's almost the same to spend for the effect in a place than spend in tonics.

And since they would be able to save the tonics and use them later, they would spend more money, not just a couple of uses during a party.

XDDD

If the NPC appears only in events, it would be THE SAME as buying a single tonic and using it.

Once used, the tonics does not take storage space at all.

Storing it and being able to use it later would be just a nice extra.
